i) Children must be at least 2 years and 8 months old for the 2027/2028 school year

*Reminder: Parents must apply to EDB for the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” from September to November, 2026.
ii) Online admission applications will be accepted from 10th September to 9th October, 2026.
*《Application for whole-day class》
Applicants requesting whole-day classes based on family needs will receive priority consideration. However, as whole-day places are limited, priority status does not guarantee admission. Please submit an application letter stating your family’s specific reasons for needing full-day care. This letter will serve as the primary basis for the selection process.

*The application fee is non-refundable whether the application is successful or not.

i) The kindergarten will arrange an interview for all applicants
ii) Interview arrangement will be sent via email on or before 15th October, 2026 (If you do not receive an email by this date, please contact the school office at 2691 4882)
iii) Interviews will be conducted in groups. To prevent overcrowding, only one parent/ guardian may accompany the child. English translation service is available for Non-Chinese Speaking children. (Please indicate your request on the application form.)

iii) Priority will be given to applicants who have sibling(s) currently studying at IHMK / IHMS / IHMC or applicant’s parent(s) or sibling(s) are graduate(s) of IHMK / IHMS / IHMC.

Admission results will be sent via email on or before 11th December 2026.

Successful applicants: Parents need to complete the registration procedures between 7th to 9th January, 2027 by submitting the following documents:
i)“Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” or “Kindergarten Admission Pass” issued by the EDB,
ii) Registration fee : Half-day class $970, Whole-day class $1,570 (Cash only)
Applicants on the waiting list: If there are vacancies, parents of waitlisted applicants will be notified by late January, 2027. * Please be reminded that if parents fail to submit the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” or “Kindergarten Admission Pass” during the designated registration period, our kindergarten will not be able to complete your child’s registration. Please ensure you have applied to the EDB for the valid registration documents within the specified period.

i) Under the Kindergarten Education Scheme (hereafter referred to as “Scheme”), each child who can receive education in Hong Kong will only be issued a registration document and all Scheme-KGs can only admit students holding a valid registration document.
ii) Parents are required to submit an application for the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” (hereafter referred to as “RC”) to EDB from September to November 2026. The “RC” will be open for applications in September 2026 and EDB will announce and upload the details of application onto EDB’s website https://www.edb.gov.hk/en/edu-system/preprimary-kindergarten/kindergarten-k1-admissionarrangements/index.html in due course. Upon receipt of the applications with all necessary information and documents provided, EDB will generally take six to eight weeks to complete processing of the applications and issue the “RC” to applicants who are eligible for receiving subsidy under the Scheme by post. If a student cannot obtain an “RC” as he/she can receive education in Hong Kong but is not eligible for receiving subsidy under the Scheme# ,EDB will then issue a “Kindergarten Admission Pass” (hereafter referred to as “AP”) to the student concerned for registration and admission to a Scheme-KG but the parents concerned are required to pay full school fees before deduction of subsidy under the Scheme as shown on the Fees Certificate of the KG to which the child is admitted.
# Upon obtaining permission from the Director of Immigration, non-local children (such as children holding a form of recognizance, children whose parent(s) is/are holding a student visa, etc.) can receive education in Hong Kong but they are not eligible for subsidy under the Scheme.
**School’s statement: Application form and other required documents will constitute Chapter 486 Personal Data (Privacy) ordinance “Data Protection Principles”, all personal data are collected for a lawful purpose directly related to admission use.

Remarks: If applicant wants to apply for change of class (am/pm/wd), please submit application letter to the school office. Please mark clearly “Application for change of class” on the envelope. We will consider your application in sequential order. whole-day class placements due to family needs will be given priority. As the number of school places are limited, please understand that not all applicants fulfilling the priority consideration will be guaranteed a school place. Please summit application letter if you want to apply for whole-day class.
